Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 70, 1970) is a renowned American actor. Melina Kanakaredes is best known for playing Detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter in NBC's drama Providence. Her breakout role as Eleni andros Cooper on the CBS soap show Guiding Light was also praised. The notable films she has appeared in are 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted to a movie with Vlas Parlapanides (the duo who came up with the Immortals) is said to be in development. In addition, she's working on a new show called Gods & Heroes.
