Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez is a popular Mexican-American singer, actress and songwriter. Her mom raised her in the USA, where she faced numerous racial slurs that caused her to feel as an unwanted person. As she entered the 9th grade she started to feel more secure after being applauded by her teachers for her performance at school's audition. It not only boosted her confidence, but it altered the direction she pursued in her professional career. The 22-year-old earned a degree from the Julliard School in New York. As she was turning 23 she began her journey on Broadway in Paul Simon's The Capeman. Then, aged 23, her movie debut was You've Got Mail. The greatest achievement of her career was when she played The Lady of The Lake in Spamalot's original Broadway production. In addition to being the only actress to receive the Tony Award, but her performance was also well-received by critics. The following year, she appeared as Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy on ABC, she gained greater appreciation. In addition to being a popular singer, she released a solo and a longer piece. She is also an activist who is active in the field of LGBT rights.
